Amanda Venter
Amanda says she has had the privilege of calling the Redlands home for the past 35 years. She is happily married and the proud parent of two young children.
Her journey into the world of Education and Care began right after high school. She’s dedicated 15 years of her career to this sector, and during that time, held various roles, including Centre Director, Quality Assurance Manager, and Operations Manager. Amanda says it’s been a rewarding journey, working with children and families in our and many other communities.
In 2017, she took a new path by joining a not-for-profit charity, focusing on Outside School Hours Care (OSHC). She stepped into the role of Quality and Compliance Advisor and has since worked in several positions within the charity, including Service Manager for OSHC and Regional Manager for OSHC. Her time at PCYC Queensland marked another turning point as she transitioned to the Club Operations side, serving as a Zone Development Manager.
Today, she’s still with the same not-for-profit charity, and currently holds the position of State Operations Manager. Her role involves overseeing a significant transition project, which is both challenging and rewarding.
What truly drives Amanda in her career is her passion for making a difference in the lives of young people in Queensland. She is deeply committed to their well-being and development and believes in the power of community and education in achieving this goal. And, of course, she absolutely loves being a part of the Redlands community. It’s a place that holds a special place in her heart, and she’s grateful for the opportunities it has provided her over the years.
